Five killed in a bus accident in Sindhuli

KATHMANDU: A passenger bus traveling from Okhaldhunga to Kathmandu met with an accident in Sindhuli.

The accident killed five people, according to District Police Office Sindhuli SP Rajkumar Silwal.

The passenger bus No. Ba 2 B 6596 collided with a wall (Kuhibhir) in Sindhuli’s Phikkal Rural Municipality-4.

According to the police, there were only 29 passengers on the bus. The injured have been taken to Khurkot for treatment.

Preliminary reports say that the accident took place after the bus suffered a brake failure.
