World Cup League-2: Nepal facing UAE today
If Nepal wins its remaining three matches, it has a chance to finish in the top three and qualify for the World Cup.

KATHMANDU: As part of the final series under ICC World Cup Cricket League-2, a match is being played between Nepal and UAE today. The match begins at 9:30 a.m. at the TU Cricket Ground.
Nepal defeated PNG by 52 runs in the series opener, while UAE was defeated by PNG. Nepal is currently fifth in the ICC World Cup League-2 standings, with 34 points from 33 games. Similarly, PNG is at the bottom with 11 points in 34 games.
With the defeat against PNG on Friday, the UAE’s chances of qualifying for the World Cup by finishing in the top three have ended. Now, the UAE’s focus will be on winning the remaining matches and remaining in the top five in the points table in order to keep their ODI status.
