UML’s Astalaxmi files her candidacy for vice president from UML (photos included)

KATHMANDU: Astalaxmi Shakya, a UML member, has filed her candidacy for vice president.

On Saturday, he registered his candidacy for the position of Vice-President at the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Election Office in the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

The UML secretariat meeting this morning decided to nominate Shakya as the vice-presidential candidate.

Shakya, a former chief minister of Bagmati State, serves as UML’s vice president. Nominations are being accepted today for the March 17 elections.
