Alliance’s top leaders meeting continues in Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the power partner parties’ top leaders has begun.

The meeting has started few moments ago at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

The meeting is debating the Vice President election, candidate selection, and the most recent political developments.

Today is the deadline for the nomination of candidates for the vice presidential election, but the parties are perplexed after the Election Commission ruled that men cannot run for the position.

The Vice President election has been scheduled for March 17.

The power alliance’s aspirants for Vice President include JSP’s Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav and Janamat Party’s Mamta Jha.
