UML secretariat meeting to decide on vice president

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML Central Secretariat is meeting. The UML has convened a secretariat meeting to decide on the vice presidential candidate.

The meeting will take place this morning at the Chyasal party office.

The nomination papers of the candidates for the Vice President election, which will take place on March 17, are being registered.

According to the Election Commission, candidates can register their nomination papers from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the election officer’s office in New Baneshwor.

The parties are currently holding internal discussions to determine the candidate for vice president.
