9 parties summons a meeting

KATHMANDU: A meeting of 9 parties is being held to discuss the Vice President.
A meeting has been scheduled for this Friday at 2 p.m.
Ranjita Shrestha, Chair of the Nagarik Unmukti Party, stated that the vice presidential election will be discussed at the meeting.
Talking to Makalu Khabar, she said ‘There is a meeting of 9 parties. I had no idea if the RSP had been summoned. The election of the Vice President is on the agenda. Although the coalition’s vice president has been decided, no official announcement has been made. This is a public awareness campaign. It could also be a letter of thanks for the presidential election.’
Previously, the Janata Samajwadi Party held the Vice President’s share of the alliance. JSP Federal Council President Ashok Kumar Rai stated that the party’s central committee meeting on Thursday decided to appoint Ram Sahaya Yadav as vice-president.
The Vice President election will take place on March 17. Yadav also serves as the leader of the JSP parliamentary party. In the election held on November 20, Bara was elected from constituency number 2.
Currently, Ram Chandra Poudel of the Nepali Congress has been elected President from among nine parties.
