Newly elected President Poudel visited & worshiped Pashupatinath (photos)

KATHMANDU: The newly elected President Ram Chandra Poudel paid a visit to Pashupatinath today.

He visited the Pashupatinath temple & worship there few minutes ago.

President Paudel is currently scheduled to visit Sundarijal and the BP Museum.

The army general’s quarter at Sundarijal, where BP, Ganeshman, and Krishna Prasad were imprisoned, has been turned into a BP museum. Before beginning any work, Congress leaders contacted Sundarijal.

He was elected president on Thursday and will take oath on Monday.

As President Bidya Devi Bhandari’s term ends on Sunday, Paudel will take the oath of office on Monday. He will take office after taking the oath of office.
