Poudel will become the guardian of whole country: Rabi Lamichhane

KATHMANDU: Rabi Lamichhane, President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has expressed confidence that newly elected President Ram Chandra Poudel will serve as the country’s protector.

Congratulating newly elected President Poudel, he expressed confidence that he will become the country’s guardian.

‘I would like to heartily congratulate the respected leader Ram Chandra Poudel for being elected to a dignified post like the President of the country,’ President Lamichhane wrote on the social networking site Facebook. I am confident that I will be appointed as the country’s guardian.’

Poudel was elected President of Nepal on Thursday, defeating UML’s Subas Chandra Nemwang.
