Writ against Prachanda in ‘not to be seen’ list
The writ hearing was scheduled for today in the single bench of Judge Bishwambhar Prasad Shrestha.

KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has placed the writ against Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal in the ‘not to be seen’ list.
The court has scheduled a hearing on the writ petition filed by the conflict victims for Friday.
The writ hearing was scheduled for today in the single bench of Judge Bishwambhar Prasad Shrestha.
However, it is claimed that no hearing took place because Shrestha’s single bench was not present.
Gyanendraraj Aran and Chiranjeevi Giri, both conflict victims, filed separate writs against Prachanda.
Prachanda stated that he would accept responsibility for the deaths of 5,000 people out of the 17,000 killed in the conflict. He has since been embroiled in controversy.
There have also been calls for him to be arrested and imprisoned immediately. Common citizens are also claiming that he will resign as Prime Minister and cooperate with the investigation.
