KATHMANDU: Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) in Bhairahawa, the country’s second largest international airport, has begun rescheduling international flights as of today.

The Jazeera Air plane, which landed in Kuwait with 66 passengers this morning at 7:15 a.m., took off from Kuwait at 8:15 a.m., according to Nepal Civil Aviation Authority spokesman 9CAN0 Jagannath Niraula.

According to him, now that the skies have cleared, the Bhairahawa flight is simple, and Jazeera will now fly three days a week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, GBIA in Bhairawa, which operates as an alternative to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), has a daily capacity of 30 to 40 flights.
