Aasif reached his century in 101 balls, hitting 10 fours and two sixes.
This is Aasif’s first century in 32 One-Day Internationals. He is the fifth Nepalese player to score a century in one-day international cricket.
Previously, Nepal’s ODI centuries have come from Paras Khadka, Kushal Bhurtel, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Rohit Poudel.
Nepal was invited to bat first after losing the toss to PNG and scored 190 runs for the loss of two wickets in 35 overs.
Nepal is currently in fifth place in ICC World Cup League-2 with 32 points from 32 games.
