KATHMANDU: Nepal Workers Peasants Party (NWPP) will not vote in the presidential election.

Secretary Prem Suwal informed that the party’s central secretariat meeting decided not to participate in the presidential election.

NWPP has one MP in the House of Representatives and three MPs in Bagmati State.

Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel and CPN-UML vice-chair Subas Nemwang are candidates for the post of president.

Elections are currently being held in the Parliament building.

RPP has also decided not to participate in the presidential election.
