Presidential candidate Poudel reached polling station (with photos)

KATHMANDU: The country will get a new president by this evening. Voting for the election of the President will be held shortly.

Ram Chandra Poudel of the 9 Alliance and Subas Chandra Nemwang of the CPN-UML are both running for President of the Nepali Congress.

Voting for one of these two as President will take place today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Lhotse Hall of Parliament House in New Baneshwor.

Candidate Poudel has just arrived at the polling place.

The counting of votes will begin as soon as the voting is completed, and the results will be announced by 7 p.m. today.

Today, one of Poudel or Nemwang will be choosen as Nepal’s third president.
