KATHMANDU: Asian Paints Nepal, one of the largest paint companies in Nepal, celebrated the festival of colors, Holi, in association with KMC Ward No. 24 and Kutumba Band on March 6, at Indra Chowk, Kathmandu.

Through the cultural band Kutumba, the event aimed to uplift and showcase the Newa culture and community.

The event began at 1 p.m. and lasted until 4 p.m., drawing a large number of participants.

The instrumental performance by Kutumba Band, which mesmerized the audience with soulful folk tunes, was the event’s main highlight.

The band’s performance captured the essence of Nepalese tradition, which is deeply rooted in Newa culture.

Aside from the musical performance, attendees enjoyed the photobooth and the colorful open shower set up by Asian Paints Nepal. The open shower was a big hit, with people drenching themselves in colorful water and reveling in the Holi spirit.

Commenting on the event, Mr. Gopalakrishnan G. , Country Director of Asian Paints Nepal, said, “We are thrilled to be celebrating Holi with KMC Ward 24 and Kutumba Band.

The purpose of the event was to promote and highlight the Newa culture and community, which is an important part of Nepal’s rich heritage. We are encouraged by the enthusiastic response from participants and hope to continue our efforts to promote our vibrant diversity.”

The event was a huge success, with participants praising the celebration of Nepali culture and tradition.

The collaboration of Asian Paints Nepal with KMC Ward No. 24 and the Kutumba Band was an excellent initiative to promote Nepal’s cultural diversity and heritage.
