‘Mero Voice Universe’ & ‘Mero Dance Universe’ announce new date for KTM audition

KATHMANDU: The Intra National Welfare and Support Foundation of America has rescheduled the ‘Mero Voice Universe’ and ‘Mero Dance Universe’ auditions in Kathmandu for March 18 and 19.

These auditions were previously scheduled for March 11 and 12. The auditions had to be rescheduled due to technical difficulties, according to the organizers.

During the audition, contestants must have an official document proving their age in order to participate. Contestants chosen from the field audition will travel to Kathmandu to compete in the studio audition. Participants from other countries can also register by downloading the My Intra app. Contestants who took part in the digital audition will be required to take part in the field audition as well. Contestants in these shows must be at least 18 years old.

Aside from that, those who want to compete in the ‘Mero Dance Universe’ cultural group category should also attend the field audition. These two shows are the first international Nepali singing and dancing reality shows, with the most money ever given away in a Nepali television reality show.

According to the foundation, the winner of ‘Mero Voice Universe’; will get a prize of RS one crore. Similarly, first runner-up and second runner-up will get Rs 30 lakh and Rs 20 lakh, respectively. Likewise, winner of ‘Mero Dance Universe’ will also get a prize of RS one crore, while the first runner-up and the second runner-up will get Rs 30 lakh and Rs 20 lakh, respectively.

Meanwhile, winner of Dance Universe’s cultural group category will get a prize of 20 lakh rupees. whereas first runner-up and second runner-up will get Rs 10 lakh and Rs 5 lakh, respectively.

Besides Nepal, the foundation aims to allure massive participation from several countries with Nepali speaking communities including Myanmar, Thailand, Bhutan, India, Australia, United States, and Canada.
