These states have the possibility of rain & snowfall

KATHMANDU: At present, there is a general influence of western wind in the country, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

As a result of which there is partial to normal change in the hilly areas of the country including Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki States.

In the afternoon, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with lightning in a few places across the country’s hilly terrain. There is a chance of light snowfall in a few areas of the country’s high hilly and Himalayan regions.

At night, there is a possibility of light rain with lightning in one or two locations in the Koshi and Gandaki regions. There is a chance of light snowfall in one or two locations in the Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali states’ high hills and Himalayan areas.

Due to the possibility of temporary rain with lightning in the hilly areas of the country, there is a possibility of light snowfall in some parts of the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country.
