KATHMANDU: A gathering of Maoist leaders is taking place.

The meeting will take place at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.

Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Chair of the Maoist Center and Prime Minister, Mohan Vaidya Kiran, Chair of the Nepal Samajwadi Party Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, General Secretary of the CPN Maoist Netra Bikram Chand Biplav, CPN Majority Leader Dharmendra Bastola, and Chair of the CPN Maoist Samajwadi Karnajit Budhathoki are expected to participate.

Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Prime Minister and Chair of the CPN (Maoist Centre), has recently urged all Maoist components to unite. According to sources, the topic of today’s meeting will be the same.

Similarly, following the Supreme Court’s order to file a case against Prime Minister Prachanda for the conflict-time incident, Maoist leaders who have come close are debating whether to unite the party as much as possible or, if that is not possible right away, to unite in action.
