The Mithila Madhyamik circumambulation, which began on Falgun Pratipada, Feb 20, at the Kachuri of Dhanusha, will conclude today with the indoor circulation of Janakpurdham.
Using Janakpurdham as the starting point, the pilgrimage tour of the villages and towns connected with its surrounding areas is known as the Mithila Madhya circumambulation.
Mithilapuri’s circumambulation results are considered good, according to Mithila Mahatmya. According to the Mithila Mahatmya, if one is born with luck in the Mithila region, traveling there will bring eternal fruits as well as benefits from shaving, fasting, and staying for one evening.
Mithila circumambulation is done in an area of 130 km because it is believed that circumambulation of sacrifices, temples, rivers, and people is beneficial. It is believed that if you attend this circumambulation fair, you will be cleansed of sins, cured of diseases, and granted entrance to heaven at the end of your life.
