PM laid wreath to the body of Saroj Kumar Upadhyaya
Prachanda paid his last respects to Upadhyay after arriving at the CPN-S office in Aloknagar.
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed his respect to the mortal body of Saroj Kumar Upadhyaya, the brother of Madhav Kumar, the chair of the CPN Unified Socialists Party, by placing wreaths.
Prachanda paid his last respects to Upadhyay after arriving at the CPN-S office in Aloknagar.
Upadhyaya is the younger brother of former Prime Minister and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal.
Prime Minister Prachanda has also expressed his condolences to the entire family, including the deceased’s brother Madhav Nepal.
Upadhyaya committed suicide on Saturday by jumping from the sixth floor of a restaurant in Shankhamul.
His last rites would be conducted at Pashupati Aryaghat today evening, according to the Upadhyaya family.
