9 parties meeting begins in Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the top leaders of nine political parties has begun in Baluwatar, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda’s official residence.

The meeting of the alliance of eight parties formed on Feb 24 and the Nepal Samajwadi Party led by Baburam Bhattarai has begun.

The leaders gathered to discuss the matter after Prime Minister Prachanda issued an order claiming responsibility for 5,000 people killed during the Maoist war.

Similarly, current issues such as the presidential election are expected to be discussed at the meeting.
