13-year-old kid dies of drowning

KATHMANDU: Pratima Tamang, 13, the daughter of Bir Bahadur Tamang, died on Saturday afternoon while swimming in the canal of the Sunsari-Morang irrigation project at Netachowk, Gramathan Rural Municipality-6.

She became unconscious after drowning and died while being treated at Koshi Hospital Biratnagar.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
