KATHMANDU: Two international airports have General Managers appointed by the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority.
Premnath Thakur, the then-General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), had been suspended for allegedly asking for a bribe.
Accordingly, Pratap Babu Tiwari has been appointed General Manager of TIA, and Hansraj Pandey has been appointed General Manager of Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA).
Tiwari, the airport’s chief, was previously the director of the Civil Aviation Training Institute.
Hansraj previously served as the Directorate of Aviation Services’ Deputy Director General.
The government delegated authority to them on Friday.
