KATHMANDU: Narayangadh-Muglin road will be in regular operation from Sunday.

Since Dec 20, the road has been closed for four hours every day due to the construction of a new bridge and road maintenance.

According to Krishna Acharya, information officer for the Muglin Road Project West Section, the road will reopen on Sunday after the bridge construction and road maintenance work is finished.

According to him, mountains had to be cut in five places to build the bridge, while other work, such as blasting on one side of the Tuin River, is nearly complete. “The road may be closed for an hour during the blasting for a few days, but there will be no problem with vehicles coming and going; they will be able to move without interruption,” he said.

Since Dec 20, the road has been closed for four hours every day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
