Two arrested with 720,000 Indian notes

BIRATNAGAR: Police have arrested two people from Biratnagar with large amount of Indian notes.

The District Police Office Morang team arrested two people and seized 720,000 Indian rupees from No. 1 Dhat in Biratnagar Metropolitan City Ward No. 15.

DSP Tika Bahadur Karki of the District Police Office Morang reported that during the search, the police team apprehended Sunny Gupta, 30, and Surendra Kumar, 43, both of Bahadurgunj, Haryana, India, as well as 720,000 rupees.

He stated that it had been forwarded to Revenue Investigation Office Itahari Sunsari for further investigation into the arrested individuals.
