There is no party whip in presidential election, parliamentarians should exercise discretion: Yogesh Bhattarai

KATHMANDU: UML leader Yogesh Bhattarai has said that the leaders of LSP are positive to vote for Subas Nemwang as President.

Leader Bhattarai stated this to reporters after meeting with LSP leaders and soliciting votes.

“Electing the president is a matter of electing without regard to party,” he said. They stated that their party will meet on March 8 to make a decision on this.’

He also expressed confidence that, with no party whip in the presidential election, voters with strong political understanding and awareness will vote wisely.
