‘Cherry’ blossoms bloom in valley (photos included)

KATHMANDU: With the arrival of spring, the flowers of Paiyu and Aaru species in full bloom in Kathmandu valley appear to welcome the season.

These flowers have bloomed along various roads in Kathmandu after blooming in the park of Bhrikuti Mandap.

It is known as’sakura’ in Japanese, ‘cherry blossom’ in English, and Paiyu and Aaru in Nepali. This is a specific type of tree.

The beauty of the flowers that bloom there makes the environment, humans, and animals mellow and fragrant. This flower attracts bees as well.

Young people taking selfies and photos with these flowers appear enchanted by the flowers blooming in parks and open squares.
