KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) will award a prize of one lakh rupees to each member of the U-19 men’s cricket team.

Nepal qualified for the World Cup after defeating UAE by 7 runs in the final match of the Asian World Cup qualifiers.
Nepal batted first after winning the toss at Eden Garden Oval in Ajman, scoring 191 runs in 48 overs with 5 balls.
Nepal’s Dev Khanal batted half-century, scoring 51 runs off 84 balls. Captain Khanal finished with three fours and one six. Dev took 75 balls to reach his half-century.
Bishal Bikram KC scored 38 points on 50 attempts. KC hit five fours.
After scoring 36 runs, Uttam Thapa was bowled out. Nepal lost three wickets in six overs and one ball, with Thapa and captain Khanal contributing 84 runs for the fourth wicket.
Dipesh Kandel had 15 runs and Hemant Dhami had 13.
Deepak Bohora of Nepal was out on the first pitch of the game. Arjun Kumal was out for three runs, and Akash Tripathi was out for nine.
Dhruv Parashar took three wickets, with Haris Shetty and Ayan Khan taking two each. Ammar Badami and Harshit Seth each took one wicket.
Nepal will compete in the U-19 Men’s World Cup, which will be held in Sri Lanka in 2024.
