KATHMANDU: Nepal qualified for the World Cup after defeating the United Arab Emirates in the final match of the ICC U-19 World Cup Asia Region Qualifier.

After winning the toss at Eden Garden Oval in Ajman, Nepal batted first and scored 191 runs in 48 overs with 5 balls.

Dev Khanal of Nepal batted half-century, scoring 51 runs off 84 balls. Captain Khanal had three fours and one six. Dev hit his half-century in 75 balls.

Bishal Bikram KC scored 38 off 50 balls. KC hit 5 fours.

Uttam Thapa was bowled out after scoring 36 runs. Thapa and captain Khanal contributed 84 runs for the fourth wicket for Nepal, which lost three wickets in six overs and one ball.

Dipesh Kandel scored 15 runs and Hemant Dhami scored 13 runs.

Deepak Bohora of Nepal opener was out on the first ball of the innings. Arjun Kumal was out for three runs, and Akash Tripathi was out for nine.
