Despite being ready for the night flight since Feb 23, the ship only arrived in Pokhara for the first time on Wednesday night. Saurya Airlines flew passengers from Kathmandu to Pokhara at night.
Pokhara’s night flight was a success, according to Bikram Gautam, the head of the Pokhara Civil Aviation Authority.
Saurya Airlines took off with 33 passengers at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday. From Pokhara, the same plane returned to Kathmandu with 46 passengers.
Gautam informed that now Pokhara is ready for night and international flights and the maturity period has also been completed. Buddha Air has also started preparations to start night flights in Pokhara from Feb 25.
