NC withdrawl support in naming of the state, voting in favor of ‘Koshi’

BIRATNAGAR: The Nepali Congress has withdrawn its guidance for the naming of State 1 Koshi.

The proposal to name State 1 supported by Congress was registered in the State Assembly Secretariat in the CPN-UML proposal.

Bhumi Prasad Rajbanshi of the Congress Party backed CPN-UML MP Ram Magar’s proposal.

The Congress withdrew its support for the Koshi State proposal after the Maoists refused to sign.

The Congress Parliamentary Party has withdrawn its support in a petition to the State Assembly Secretariat.

Although the supporters have not signed, it is expected that Congress and Maoists will vote in Koshi State’s favor.
