CAN preparing to send Lamichhane to UAE

KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has prepared to send the Nepali national cricket team player Sandeep Lamichhane to the UAE today.

Sandeep has been assigned to play the remaining matches in the triangular one-day match in the UAE as part of the ICC World Cup League Two.

According to CAN, a player in a series match between the UAE, Papua New Guinea, and Nepal has been injured, and the team is preparing to send Sandeep in his place.

CAN reports that the visa for Sandeep has arrived. Sandeep’s name is among the final 16 Nepali team members. Previously, the court granted him permission to travel abroad.
