CPN-UML, Nepali Congress, RPP and CPN-Maoist have agreed to name State 1 Koshi. It is understood that JSP also supports it.
CPN-Maoist Centre, which is stuck on the issue of identity, said that it will vote in the name introduced by the government.
Likewise, CPN Unified Socialist Parliamentary Party Leader Rajendra Kumar Rai informed that the CPN Unified Socialist Parliamentary Party is preparing to adopt a different name as a proposal. “I don’t know what other parties will propose,” he said. He informed that they are preparing to take the name of State 1 on the basis of multi-identity.
