KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives is in session today.
The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.
According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, a possible agenda item in the meeting is for Speaker Devraj Ghimire to inform about the handling of the letter received from the President’s office.
Speaker Ghimire will inform the meeting, in accordance with Rule 212 of Rule 212 of 2075, that there is a vacancy for a member of the House of Representatives under Clause (f) of Article 89 of the Nepalese Constitution.
Likewise, in today’s meeting, there is an agenda that will be presented for the construction of the proposal that ‘Monitoring and Evaluation Bill, 2078 should be considered’ received with a message from the National Assembly.
In today’s meeting, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ presented a proposal seeking permission to introduce the (First Amendment) Bill, 2079 on ‘Constitutional Council (Works, Duties, Rights and Procedures)’ and ‘Constitutional Council (Works, Duties, Rights and Procedures) ) related to (First Amendment) Bill, 2079’, the Federal Parliament Secretariat has informed that there is an agenda to present.
