BIRATNAGAR: The management of cables and nets that are strewn about has been stepped up in order to reduce the beautification of Biratnagar.

Stray wire management has been stepped up as part of the city’s campaign to make Biratnagar clean, beautiful, orderly, bright, and developed.

Cable and internet service providers are in charge of managing the wires themselves, following the Metropolitan Corporation’s instructions.

On Jan 12, wire management began formally from Himalaya Road in Biratnagar. In the presence of Mayor Nagesh Koirala, Deputy Mayor Shilpa Nirala Karki, and Chief Administrative Officer, the metropolis held several discussions with representatives of related companies about wire management.

Chief Administrative Officer Bishnu Prasad Koirala said that according to the decision of the meeting at various stages, the hanging wires are being managed to reduce the beauty of the city. “We employees will implement the plans and instructions of the leadership,” said Chief Administrative Officer Koirala.

Max, Subisu, Worldlink, Vainet, Nepal Telecom and other companies are organizing their wires.

According to Koirala, work has been accelerated so that all wires in Biratnagar can be managed by mid-April.

Mayor Nagesh Koirala has stated that no compromises will be made in the campaign to make Biratnagar clean, beautiful, orderly, bright, and developed.

Mayor Koirala also asked Biratnagar residents to support the city’s campaign. The bright metropolis campaign is also being carried out by the metropolitan.

As a result, the installation of street lights is also being rushed. The metropolitan has also accelerated tax collection in order to strengthen internal income.
