Nabil Bank & FWIN signs partnership in supporting women entrepreneurs
The agreement was made to increase women entrepreneurs' financial access with the goal of encouraging and empowering women entrepreneurs and promoting domestic production.

KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank and the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs (FWIN) have signed a partnership agreement.
The agreement was made to increase women entrepreneurs’ financial access with the goal of encouraging and empowering women entrepreneurs and promoting domestic production.
The partnership letter was signed by the bank’s Chief Executive Officer Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana and FWIN’s Chair Niru Rayamajhi Khatri.
Nabil Bank will provide stalls for women entrepreneurs’ products in its branch offices as part of this agreement.
It is mentioned in the partnership that women entrepreneurs under FWIN will participate in information and training related to Nabil Social Entrepreneurship (NSSE) program of Nabil Bank.
According to the agreement, FWIN will set up stalls at Nabil Bank’s central office once a month in the first phase.
The stalls will have products produced by Nepali entrepreneurs.
These types of Nepali products are expected to help change Nabil’s employees’ and customers’ positive attitudes toward Nepali products.
Financial access, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy training are thought to promote women’s empowerment.
This collaboration will address Sustainable Development Goals 1, 5, 8, and 17.
To support the goal of sustainable development adopted by the Government of Nepal, Nabil Bank started sustainable banking on 29 June , 2021 on Paddy Day.
Sustainable Banking Services Bank, which started with 17 branches, has now expanded to 100 branches.
