Aircraft about to take off for Biratnagar returns to parking way
The aircraft returned after its indicator signalled a problem when the plane had reached near the runway for the take off.
KATHMANDU: An airplane of Saurya Airlines which was about to takeoff for Biratnagar from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has returned to the parking-way after detection of a problem.
The aircraft returned after its indicator signalled a problem when the plane had reached near the runway for the take off.
According to TIA spokesperson Teknath Sitaula, the plane with flight number SAU 721 had arrived near the runway after boarding passengers when its indicator indicated a glitch.
It is unclear what problem was discovered in the airplane, according to him.
The plane is currently parked on the parking lot.
According to TIA officials, permission to fly will be granted only after the airlines’ engineers examine the problem in the aircraft and inform them that the plane is safe to fly.
