BYD & Everest Bank join hands to offer easy retail financing for BYD EVs in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., BYD Auto Industry Co. Ltd.’s authorized distributor in Nepal, has partnered with Everest Bank to offer customers simple financing options for its electric vehicles.

This strategic partnership between Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd. and Everest Bank aims to make it easier for customers to purchase and own a BYD electric vehicle by providing up to 80% financing on any BYD electric vehicle purchase.

Customers will be able to access financing facilities from all Everest Bank branches with a special competitive interest rate for BYD vehicles for up to seven years as a result of this partnership, making it more affordable and convenient for them to switch to eco-friendly transportation.

Customers can now own the recently launched BYD ATTO 3- the First Sporty Electric SUV in Nepal, for NRs. 12.98 lakhs, or the BYD All-New e6, the Longest Range EV in Nepal, for NRs. 11.80 lakhs, with only a 20% down payment.

This financing arrangement will adhere to the Nepal Rastra Bank’s related directives and guidelines, ensuring that customers receive a secure and trustworthy financing option.

Everest Bank will sanction the loan for BYD customers within 7 working days of receiving all required documents, and will also provide a 33% discount on the current loan processing fees.

BYD and Everest Bank are committed to making the transition to sustainable transportation more accessible and affordable for Nepali consumers as part of this collaboration.
