KATHMANDU: Chandrakant Bhandari, Congress leader and member of the House of Representatives, has seen significant improvement in his health. Bhandari, who was injured in a fire, has made significant progress.

His assistant, Madhav Neupane, informed him that Bhandari, who is being treated in Mumbai, India, was taken off the ventilator as a test on Monday morning. ‘As a test, the ventilator has been removed. Health indicators are normal. The swelling is subsiding. ‘My health is returning to normal,’ Neupane said.

MP Bhandari was taken to Mumbai on Thursday afternoon by a chartered flight of Shree Airlines.
