Maoist Centre taking decision on President, summoned official meeting

The meeting is scheduled for after 4 p.m. at the party headquarters in Paris Danda.
Leader Matrika Yadav stated that the meeting will primarily focus on the presidential election. According to him, the meeting will go over who the party will back in the presidential election in the final week of Falgun.
On Sunday evening, the top leaders of the Congress had a meeting with Chair of the Maoist Centre and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
When the Congress asked the President for help, Prime Minister Prachanda replied that he would reach a decision after discussion within the party. There is a program for the registration of candidacy on Feb 25 for the presidential election on the March 9.
