National Democracy Day to be celebrated for three days
A circular has also been issued to form a State-level Democracy Day Main Celebration Committee to celebrate Democracy Day, which will be chaired by the Chief Ministers of all states.
KATHMANDU: National Democracy Day, 2079, will last three days. The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration issued a circular today to the offices of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, as well as all commissions, departments, institutions, district coordination committees, and local levels, requesting that Democracy Day be observed for three days.
Regarding the grandiose celebration of National Democracy Day, 2079 on the Falgun 6,7 & 8 (Feb 18,19,20) National Democracy Day 2079 is requested to be celebrated with various programs in accordance with the program passed by the meeting held on Magh 24 (Feb 7) under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Chair of the Main Celebration Committee’, stated in the letter issued by the Ministry of General Administration.
A circular has also been issued to form a State-level Democracy Day Main Celebration Committee to celebrate Democracy Day, which will be chaired by the Chief Ministers of all states.
Similarly, on the evenings of Falgun 6,7 & 8 (Feb 18,19,20), all government agencies, institutions, organizations, and offices will hoist the national flag and light the lamp.
It is also mentioned in the ministry’s circular to clean up public institutions and places, place the national flag in appropriate locations, and beautify with decorations.
A circular has also been issued to organize creative and creative competitions related to the day’s cultural, literary, and educational fields, as well as to publish and broadcast message programs related to National Democracy Day through the media.
