15 people involved in vandalizing & looting at Lhotse Mall arrested

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 15 people on charge of vandalizing and looting a mobile shop at Lhotse Mall in Gongabu’s new bus park and setting fire to a police van while transport workers were on the move.

They were arrested, according to SSP Dan Bahadur Karki, Chief of District Police Complex in Kathmandu.

According to the police, they were arrested on the basis of video footage and other information on social media.

In addition, the number of people arrested for robbery has risen to 19. The police discovered that the transport workers were involved in the robbery.

Karki stated that they were sent to the Balaju and Maharajgunj circles for further investigation.
