Gas explode: NC leader Bhandari lost his mother

KATHMANDU: Congress MP Chandra Bhandari’s mother Harikala Bhandari, who was injured in a gas cylinder explosion, has passed away.

A 87-year-old mother Harikala passed away at 11:00 a.m. during treatment at Kirtipur Hospital.

Leader Bhandari, who was injured alongside his mother, is receiving medical treatment.

According to the doctor involved in the treatment, Bhandari’s condition at the Kirtipur Cliffed and Burn Center is becoming more complicated.

Preparations are being made to transport him to Mumbai’s National Burn Center for further treatment.

According to reports, the mother was injured when a house in Buddhanagar caught fire due to a gas leak last night, and MP Bhandari was also injured while attempting to save her.
