KATHMANDU: Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, deputy leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has expressed concern that the government will not be held accountable due to the minister’s absence from the parliament meeting.

Shrestha rose and objected to the rules, and when Speaker Devraj Ghimire inquired, he stated that there was not a single minister present.

The Minister of State, according to the Speaker. MP Shrestha stated that he will not be the only minister of state and asked, ‘How can the government become accountable as a cabinet minister?’

The presence of the minister is required during the meeting of the House of Representatives, according to the rules of the House of Representatives.
