Test paragliding flight conducted in Phulchowki-Kushadevi
Following successful test operation, 10 paragliding flights would provide the service.
KATHMANDU: Paragliding service has come into operation in Phulchowki-Kushadevi area in Panauti Municipality of Kavre.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation had granted permission to Phulchowki Adventure Pvt Ltd to commercially run paragliding service in the Phulchowki-Kushadevi area of Kavre on last January. The CAAN had permitted the company to operate the service since last January itself.
Company Chairperson Chhabilal Humagain shared that a test paragliding had begun since Monday (Feb 13) as a preparation for launching commercial services. “We have started test paragliding for commercial services. We will go for commercial services after a three-day test paragliding”.
He further informed that ‘demonstration’ paragliding was being made for now before the delivery of commercial service.
