POKHARA: Chief Minister of Gandaki State Khagaraj Adhikari went to Kathmandu on a Buddha Air flight on Monday.

‘We want to prove that air travel is safe,’ he wrote before boarding the plane. We’re flying from Pokhara to Kathmandu.’

He claimed that he flew to Kathmandu to demonstrate that the flight to Pokhara was safe.

Following the crash of a Yeti Airlines plane in Pokhara on Magh 1 (Jan 15), the number of people flying has decreased. The tourist district is deserted.

Tourists are canceling their reservations for hotels in Pokhara.

The Yeti shipwreck killed 72 people. Since then, tourists have had the impression that flying is dangerous.

Adhikari also requested that they travel because the plane was safe.
