‘People’s War Day’ became legal after public holiday: Prachanda
Prachanda stated that the government has decided to declare a holiday in order to justify the people's war, the main movement that will bring about change.
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that it was made public to justify the people’s war.
Addressing a program on People’s War Day, Prachanda stated that the government has decided to declare a holiday in order to justify the people’s war, the main movement that will bring about change.
‘We are not allowed to fail,’ he said. For some time, attempts have been made to call the constitution into question. At this point, the main movement that will bring about this change must move forward with determination in order to be justified. To justify the People’s War, it was decided to declare a public holiday.’
He stated that the rights and achievements established on the foundation of the People’s War are the nation’s common property.
