Road blocked over woman’s death in Surkhet bus accident

KATHMANDU: After a woman died in a bus collision at Surkhet Bus Park on Sunday afternoon, her relatives protested.

According to relatives, the bus hit 65-year-old Nadi Rawat of Jajarkot Chedagad-6, who was currently living at Birendranagar-11 Bamekhola.

Today, relatives shut down Surkhet and blocked the road with various demands.

As the road was closed, vehicles leaving Surkhet were also halted.

Relatives are shouting slogans by burning tires at various points along the road.
