KATHMANDU: Seven newly appointed Lumbini State government ministers have taken the oath of office and secrecy.

The minister was sworn in by state chief Amik Sherchan.

On Saturday, the reorganized Council of Ministers appointed two ministers from three Maoist centers and one from the RPP and Janamat Party.

Economic Affairs Minister Jokh Bahadur Mahara, Infrastructure Development Minister Indrajit Tharu, Health Minister Bishnu Prasad Panthi, Forest and Environment Minister Durga Prasad Chaudhary, Industry, Tourism and Transport Management Minister Janaki Prasad Yadav, Agriculture and Land Management Minister Tulsi Ram Sharma and Social Development Minister Chandrakesh Gupta took oath today.
