Why insult President when it is fault of government? : Raghuji Pant

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML MP Raghuji Pant has stated that as the government manages vehicle security during the presidential ride, the president should not be chastised for the incident that occurred during the ride.
He has requested that the ride be simplified as the government will provide security for whoever is the president or VIP.
He said this during a special session of Parliament.
“There was a controversy during Ram Baran Yadav’s time regarding the riding of the president,” he said, “since then we have been asking to make it simple and easy.” When the President left on Friday, the ambulance also got stuck in traffic jam. Common people suffered. Should the president scold the government when it makes a mistake? Why is the government not ready to simplify it? Let’s take this matter seriously.’
