Leicester beat Tottenham

KATHMANDU: Leicester City beat Tottenham in the English Premier League.

Leicester defeated Tottenham 4-1 on Saturday night. Tottenham took the game’s first lead.

Rodrigo Bentancur scored in the 14th minute to give Tottenham the lead.

However, in the 23rd minute, Nampalys Mendy scored and brought Leicester to a 1-1 draw. In the 25th minute, James Maddison scored to give Leicester a 2-1 lead.

In the injury time of the first half, Kelechi Iheanacho scored to give Leicester a 3-1 lead. Then in the 81st minute of the game, Harvey Barnes scored to give Leicester a 4-1 victory.

With the win, Leicester has 24 points in 22 games. Leicester is in 13th place.

Tottenham is in fifth place with 39 points.
